Accessibility

We want WikiTacos to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

• Pages use headings, landmarks and labeled form fields.
• Images have text alternatives, and generated illustrations are labeled.
• The site works with a keyboard and adjusts to phone screens.
• The shop directory offers a searchable list of every shop shown on the map.

Known limits

The interactive map is a visual tool. The list of “Shops in view” beside the map and the directory give the same shops in text form. Embedded YouTube videos depend on the captions provided by their creators.

Report a barrier

If something on the site is hard to use, tell us through the contact form with the page address and what happened. We will work to fix it.
