Terms of use

Last updated October 11, 2026

These terms apply to your use of WikiTacos, including wikitaco.com, wikitacos.com and wikitaco.pages.dev (the “site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Using the site

You may read and share the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the site or its directory in bulk, scrape it in a way that burdens the service, attempt to break its security, or use it for anything unlawful.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give accurate information. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

3. Reviews, check-ins and other posts

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give WikiTacos a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, edit for length or formatting, and distribute your post on the site and in material that promotes the site. Posts must reflect your own genuine experience. Do not post anything false, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexual, or that includes someone else’s private information. Do not post reviews of a business you own, work for or compete with, and do not offer or accept anything in exchange for a review. We moderate posts and may decline or remove any post.

4. Points

Points earned for approved receipt check-ins have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred and may be changed or ended. Submitting a receipt that is not yours or that was altered can lead to account closure.

5. Shop owner claims

Claim a shop only if you own it or are authorized to manage it. We verify claims before approval and may remove an owner’s access at any time. Owner-provided updates must be accurate. Claiming a shop does not give control over community reviews, ratings or listing order.

6. Content and intellectual property

Text written for WikiTacos is owned by WikiTacos. Photographs, map data and directory data belong to their owners and are used under the licenses credited on each page and on the credits page. Videos belong to their creators and play from YouTube. The WikiTacos name and emblem may not be used to suggest endorsement without permission.

7. Information on the site

Listings, hours, addresses, map locations, distances and directions can be out of date or wrong. See the Disclaimer. Check with a shop before you go.

8. Links and third-party services

The site links to and uses services run by others, including Google (sign-in, Maps directions, YouTube), Cloudflare and OpenStreetMap. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.

9. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WikiTacos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, your visits to businesses listed on it, or content posted by other users.

11. Reporting content

To report a post, a listing error or material you believe infringes your rights, use the contact form. Include the page address and what is wrong.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
