How this map works

The map shows 35,794 of 36,036 directory shops: those whose source listing gave map coordinates, plus US and Tijuana addresses we located with the U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder or OpenStreetMap Nominatim. A located address can be off by a block or more, so confirm before you drive. Shops without a confirmed location stay in the directory.

Star ratings come only from WikiTacos community reviews that passed moderation. A shop with no reviews shows no rating; WikiTacos never adds ratings of its own or copies them from other sites. “I’ve been here” marks are private to your account and do not earn points; receipt check-ins on a shop’s page earn points.

Tour suggestions pick nearby shops you have not marked as visited, listing community-rated shops first when reviews exist. Distances are straight-line estimates. Directions open in Google Maps, which calculates the actual route.
