Alchemy Organica
Alchemy Organica is a plant-based, organic Mexican food pop-up in Koreatown, Los Angeles, serving taco flights on hand-pressed blue corn tortillas.
Overview
Alchemy Organica runs as a pop-up stand that, when The Infatuation reviewed it in September 2022, set up on Tuesday nights near Beverly Boulevard and Kenmore Avenue in Koreatown. The stand was raising money through a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
Menu
All of the food is plant-based and organic. Tacos come on hand-pressed blue corn tortillas and can be ordered as a flight. Fillings include seasoned potatoes with cactus, a mushroom al pastor finished with pineapple, and seitan asada with herbs, each a meatless take on a familiar street-taco filling. The menu also lists mulitas and stuffed burritos. The Infatuation recommended it for lunch and for vegan diners. Its Instagram account posts schedule updates, and diners should check there for current days and location.
