Big Burrito Taqueria is a family-run taquería in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, that began as a taco truck in 1984 and is known for carne asada and oversized burritos.

History

The business started as a taco truck in 1984. The family behind it later opened a brick-and-mortar shop at 7801 Canoga Avenue, about half a mile from Roscoe Station on Metro's G Line, and continues to run it.

Juicy carne asada and large burritos are its calling cards, and lengua and cabeza are also available. The salsas are made daily: a spicy roja and a milder green salsa based on tomatillo. L.A. TACO included the shop in its 2023 guide to the best tacos along the G Line, which runs from North Hollywood to Chatsworth.
