Overview

Blue Plate Taco is at 1515 Ocean Avenue, near the beach in one of Santa Monica's most heavily visited areas. It is one of several Santa Monica restaurants under the Blue Plate banner. The Infatuation reviewed it in 2022 and described it as a spot suited to large groups, out-of-town visitors and people-watching.

Format

Unlike the counter-service taquerías common elsewhere in Los Angeles County, Blue Plate Taco takes reservations and has outdoor seating. Its bar program includes cocktails sold by the pitcher. Tacos are the focus of the menu. Current menus and hours are posted on its website, blueplatetaco.com.
