Carnitas Michoacan

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Carnitas Michoacan is a 24-hour taco stand on North Broadway in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles.

Overview

Despite a name that points to the carnitas of Michoacán, the stand is best known for its al pastor and for staying open around the clock, which places it in The Infatuation's guide to late-night restaurants in Los Angeles. It also appears in that publication's guide to the city's best nachos.

The al pastor is described as sweet and smoky. The other signature is Papa Nachos, crinkle-cut fries topped with jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole and a homemade nacho cheese sauce.
