East Beach Tacos is a taco shop on South Milpas Street in Santa Barbara, California, a few blocks from East Beach, known for contemporary fusion fillings in hard and soft shells.

History

The shop sits south of Highway 101 near the beach. A 2015 Santa Barbara Independent survey noted that its three-taco combo once came with a token for the neighboring batting cages. Visit Santa Barbara includes it in the waterfront section of its taco trail and notes a shaded patio.

Unlike most Milpas Street taquerías, East Beach Tacos leans toward modern combinations. Fillings have included ahi poke, Korean short rib, spicy crispy shrimp and a banh mi taco. The Triple Play lets diners sample three different tacos in one order.
