Overview

Chilango lists El Paisa Chilaquil at Avenida Tláhuac 481 in Culhuacán. It is open around the clock and offers about twenty kinds of taco, including tongue, cheek, brains and pastor, plus molcajetes, alambres, volcanes and queso fundido.

Context

Chilango included it in a list of thirty taquerías every Mexico City resident should know, a selection weighted toward neighborhood places outside the usual tourist circuit. Avenida Tláhuac crosses the southeastern boroughs of Iztapalapa and Tláhuac, an area with many large neighborhood taquerías.
