Overview

Sabroso included El Pata in its 2025 list of the five best taquerías in Querétaro and mentioned branches in Bernardo Quintana, Centro Sur and Milenio, without street addresses. The estimated price was 30 to 45 pesos per taco, the highest of the places on the list. A taquería called El Pata in León's Campestre area was listed by La Silla Rota among that city's pricier taco spots in 2023; the sources do not say whether the two are related.

The menu includes al pastor, alambres, rollos and specialty tacos, including one of arrachera (skirt steak).

Querétaro's taquerías draw on styles from other regions as well as local ones; CódigoQro noted in 2022 that several of the city's best-known stands advertise the taco flavor of Arandas, a town in the Altos de Jalisco, and the city's markets and side streets also hold many tacos de guisado and gordita stands.
