Francisco García Badillo is a barbacoa cook from Actopan, Hidalgo, who represented the family business Barbacoa Don Panchito when it won the town's barbacoa contest in 2024.

Career
García Badillo competed for Barbacoa Don Panchito at the 53rd Concurso de la Feria de la Barbacoa in Actopan in July 2024, where the family business took first place among 17 contestants. It was the business's fifth win, in addition to earlier second and third places. The contest judges flavor, appearance, texture, color, doneness and seasoning of barbacoa cooked in the town's traditional earth ovens with mesquite and maguey leaves.
