Hot Tacos

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Hot Tacos is a Tex-Mex taco truck from Austin, Texas, whose Los Angeles truck operates at The Line hotel on Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown.

Overview

Hot Tacos began as a roaming food truck in Austin and is run by the team behind Veracruz All-Natural, another Austin taco operation. Its Los Angeles truck set up in the front valet area of The Line, the hotel at 3515 Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, where The Infatuation reviewed it in October 2021.

The menu follows Austin's breakfast-taco tradition. Signature items include a migas taco, built on eggs scrambled with fried tortilla strips; a cochinita pibil taco on a grilled corn tortilla, borrowing the Yucatecan achiote-marinated pork; and a steak quesadilla made with marinated steak grilled on a plancha. Breakfast items are a large part of the offer, and the truck suits solo diners stopping by on the go. Its Instagram account, hottacosusa, is the place to confirm whether the Los Angeles truck is still parked at The Line.
