Overview

Chilango chose La Bici, at Circunvalación Oriente 147 in Ciudad Satélite, as the representative taquería for the Satélite zone. The magazine says the name comes from the way the business started, and it now occupies a large dining room and is among the most popular in the area.

Its unusual specialty is the taco de albóndigas (meatballs), alongside grilled rib, bistec and chicharrón in green salsa. It serves from early morning through the afternoon.

Context

Ciudad Satélite is a mid-century suburb north of Mexico City, in the State of Mexico. Chilango's 2023 feature En busca del taco más chilango chose one representative taquería for each of fifteen zones of the capital and its suburbs, favoring neighborhood spots over viral ones.
