La Grana Fish

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

La Grana Fish is a Sinaloa-style taco trailer in Oakland's Fruitvale district, parked behind the Aloha Club, known for quesabirria and Baja-style fish tacos.

Overview

The trailer operates from the lot behind the Aloha Club bar on Fruitvale Avenue, where a large seating area gives the setting something of the feel of a brewery patio. Visit Oakland describes it as a Sinaloa-style truck; it also sells bottled michelada mixes and Modelo Negra.

Two dishes anchor the menu. The first is queso birria, crisped tacos of stewed beef with melted cheese, which the Infatuation included in a 2026 roundup of the best birria tacos in San Francisco and Oakland; the quesataco format can also be ordered with carne asada, chicken or shrimp. The second is a lightly battered Baja fish taco topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and chipotle crema. More unusual offerings include birria ramen and baked potatoes loaded with birria.
