Overview

Chilango lists Los Abogados at Calle Norte 172 number 510 in Pensador Mexicano. The tacos are giant portions of lengua, cabeza, suadero, bistec or longaniza, dressed with a cooked green salsa or a red chile de árbol salsa. It is open daily from morning to late evening.

Context

Chilango included it in a list of thirty taquerías every Mexico City resident should know, a selection weighted toward neighborhood places outside the usual tourist circuit. Its name means the lawyers. Lengua, cabeza and suadero are the classic fillings of Mexico City's steamed and griddled meat taquerías, usually chopped to order and served on small corn tortillas with onion and cilantro. Generous portions are a common selling point for neighborhood taquerías outside the central tourist districts.
