Los Dorados is a small food trailer in the Highland Park area of northeast Los Angeles devoted to tacos dorados, crisp deep-fried rolled tacos.

Overview

The Infatuation describes Los Dorados as a tiny trailer that pops up on the Eastside from Thursday through Saturday and at the Smorgasburg market on Sundays, with schedule updates posted on Instagram. Time Out lists it on North Figueroa Street, operating on Friday and Saturday evenings.

At L.A. TACO's 2026 Taco Madness festival in Gloria Molina Grand Park, a panel of guest judges named Los Dorados Best in Show.

Every item is a taco dorado, a corn tortilla rolled around a filling and fried until crunchy. Fillings include lamb barbacoa, chicken, chorizo with potato, shredded beef, and bean and cheese. Toppings include salsa roja, mole or an avocado salsa verde, finished with cotija cheese.
