Mariscos Nine Seas

Mariscos Nine Seas is a seafood taco truck that parks on Grape Street in San Diego's South Park neighborhood, known for Baja-style fried fish tacos and grilled shrimp tacos.

Overview

The truck operates at 3030 Grape Street in South Park, a residential neighborhood east of Balboa Park. It appeared in the San Diego Reader's 2018 taco roundup and again in the 2019 taco issue, which treated it as one of the best-value seafood options in central San Diego.

Menu

Baja-style battered and fried fish tacos are the foundation. Grilled shrimp tacos come in diabla style, with a spicy red sauce, or as a gobernador, the Sinaloan preparation with melted cheese. The Reader also described a premium "boss taco" that combines sirloin, shrimp and marlin, and a sea bass taco that in 2019 cost less than two dollars. The 2019 prices for shrimp tacos were under five dollars.
