Ricky's Fish Tacos is an Ensenada-style fish taco business run by Ricky Piña that operated from a truck in East Hollywood and later on Riverside Drive in Los Feliz, Los Angeles.

History

LAist described Ricky's in 2015 as a silver food truck on North Virgil Avenue in East Hollywood. Time Out later listed it at 3061 Riverside Drive in Los Feliz and identified Ricky Piña as the cook. The Infatuation's review, which notes that the business moved to Riverside Drive and sometimes operated from a roaming truck, marks that listing as permanently closed, so its current status is unclear.

Ricky's specialized in Baja-style tacos in the manner of Ensenada: whitefish or shrimp in a light batter, fried to order and topped with cabbage and pico de gallo, with crema and house salsas on the side. The Ricky Special combined fish and shrimp in one order. Aguas frescas were also served.
