Taco Tasting Room
Taco Tasting Room is a counter restaurant in Mexico City's Centro Histórico that serves tacos and other masa dishes as a multi-course tasting menu.
Overview
As its name suggests, Taco Tasting Room presents tacos as a sequence of small courses served at a counter. It was included in the 2026 Michelin Guide Mexico, and Vanguardia counted it among the Mexico City taquerías in that year's selection. Reservations are taken through OpenTable, and the bar mixes cocktails to order.
Menu
A meal runs to about a dozen courses of a few bites each. Michelin inspectors cited a tostada of kampachi with sea urchin and tangerine, an enchilada in mole with torched sunflower hearts, a carnitas taco of suckling pig, and esquites with charbroiled rib eye and grasshopper mayonnaise. Desserts are also served in courses.
