Tacos del Valle

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Tacos del Valle is a northern Mexican trompo taquería from San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, whose Roma Norte branch in Mexico City holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

History

The brand began in San Pedro Garza García, in the Monterrey metropolitan area, and later opened on Avenida Álvaro Obregón in Roma Norte. The Mexico City location was one of the new Bib Gourmand entries in the 2025 Michelin Guide Mexico and kept the award in 2026.

The small dining room has a retro diner look with stools and reflective surfaces. Pork and beef are cooked on trompos beside open flame, then served simply on corn tortillas. Chilango listed the trompo negro, a red pork belly trompo, carne asada and Tijuanitas among the house items, while Michelin noted the more elaborately topped tacos árabes. Diners dress their own tacos from three squeeze-bottle salsas.
