Tacos Guadalajara is a long-running, family-operated taco truck near the Coliseum BART station area at 44th Avenue and International Boulevard in East Oakland.

Overview

Visit Oakland describes the truck as the work of a family with a long history in Oakland's taco business, and notes that it stays open late, takes cash only and is known for low prices and very large burritos. Hoodline, which placed it among Oakland's favorite affordable taco spots in 2018, located it at the Melrose food stand on 44th Avenue.

The menu is broad for a truck. Tacos come with carne asada or cabeza; tortas with carnitas or tripas; burritos with ground beef, chile verde or chicken; and quesadillas with al pastor, chicharrón or lengua. Sopes, flautas, guacamole and tacos dorados round out the board.
