Tacos La Güera is a small late-night taco stand on West 59th Place in the Walnut Park area of southeast Los Angeles, known for brisket and beef-head tacos.

Overview

The stand opens in the evening and stays open until 2 a.m. on weeknights and 4 a.m. on weekends, according to The Infatuation, which places it in the Walnut Park and South Gate area. Its hours make it a destination for late-night diners in southeast Los Angeles.

The Infatuation singles out the brisket tacos, while LosAngeles.com lists La Güera as a place for cabeza, the slow-steamed beef-head meat that is a staple of Mexican taquerías. The stand keeps a short menu centered on these braised beef fillings. The Infatuation's review, by Brant Cox, was published in August 2022.
