Overview

The truck sits near the Harbor Freeway in South Central Los Angeles. The Infatuation notes that its trompos are lit around 5 p.m. and that two or three spits of marinated pork are often turning at once. Time Out lists a second location on Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa, in Orange County.

Al pastor is the specialty, shaved from the vertical spit in the Mexico City style. Notably, the truck serves it without the pineapple or avocado salsa offered at many Los Angeles stands, pairing it instead with an earthy salsa roja.
