Tacos Neza

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Tacos Neza is an inexpensive taco shop on Sunset Boulevard near the Hollywood–West Hollywood border in Los Angeles, making its corn tortillas in house.

Overview

The shop takes its name from Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, a large municipality on the eastern edge of Mexico City. The Infatuation reviewed it in 2020 as a budget lunch option on Sunset Boulevard, with most tacos priced modestly.

Fillings include shredded chicken in mole, crisp al pastor with pineapple and grilled nopales. The reviewer's favorite was rajas, strips of grilled poblano pepper with crisp fried cheese. Tortillas are made in house, and a salsa verde and pickled onions can be ordered on the side.
