From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Tacos Royale is a Sonoran-style taco stand in a lot on West Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, serving mesquite-grilled asada on housemade flour tortillas.

Overview

The Infatuation reports that the stand was started by an alumnus of the Ceviche Project and his cousin, whom it describes as an asada specialist in Mexico. It operates Thursday through Sunday from a dirt lot on Sunset Boulevard.

The core of the menu is carne asada grilled over mesquite and served on flour tortillas made on site, sold individually or by the pack, along with asada burritos. The "OG" taco is a grilled tortilla spread with cheesy beans that can be topped with beef chicharrones. Salsas include a habanero salsa and a charred salsa tatemada, guacamole is complimentary, and coconut horchata is served to drink. Tacos Royale is included in The Infatuation's guide to the 25 best tacos in Los Angeles.
