Taquería El Cuñado, also known as El Cuñado del Tintero, is a taquería in the El Mirador area of Querétaro known for tacos de tripa with pineapple-habanero salsa.

Overview

CódigoQro listed El Cuñado at Cobre 501 in El Mirador and noted that it is known as the Cuñado del Tintero. The site did not give a founding date.

The best-known order is the taco de tripa (beef small intestine), served with a salsa of pineapple and habanero. The menu also includes suadero, bistec, chorizo, chamorro, pastor, trompa (snout), cachete (cheek), ojo (eye), lengua and sesos (brains), and desserts are also sold.

Querétaro's taquerías draw on styles from other regions as well as local ones; CódigoQro noted in 2022 that several of the city's best-known stands advertise the taco flavor of Arandas, a town in the Altos de Jalisco, and the city's markets and side streets also hold many tacos de guisado and gordita stands.
