History

KGET 17 profiled the truck in 2021 as part of its Best Eats series, presenting it as one of Bakersfield's representatives of the Tijuana taco style that spread north from Los Angeles in the late 2010s. It parks on a lot at the corner of Mount Vernon and Virginia avenues in east Bakersfield.

The core order is chopped asada served Tijuana-fashion with guacamole on the taco. The truck also makes enchiladas and tostadas, and offers three salsas along with limes and sliced radishes. The style typically features smaller tortillas, a smear of guacamole and grilled steak chopped on a cutting board as it is ordered.
