Overview

The restaurant sits at 7214 Jordan Avenue, reached by an alley from Canoga Avenue near Sherman Way. Its dining room keeps the bar and stools of the mid-century burger counter it occupies. It is not the same business as the Taqueria El Tapatio in Glendale. L.A. TACO included it in a 2023 guide to tacos along Metro's G Line, noting that the kitchen works from one flat-top.

Diners receive complimentary chips and bean dip. The menu runs through tacos, tostadas, tortas, menudo, burritos and desayunos. A taco plate combines asada, carnitas, suadero and lengua, and the huevos rancheros are a popular order. The restaurant accepts cards, which is worth noting in a part of the city where many taco stands are cash only.
