Overview

El Triunfo operates several branches in north and central Orange County. OC Weekly's 2016 list of great old-school taquerías gave addresses for five: 922 West Lincoln Avenue and 1018 East Sycamore Street in Anaheim, and 2502 Westminster Avenue, 903 South Bristol Street and 1840 South Standard Avenue in Santa Ana. Gustavo Arellano described the business as one of the oldest taquería chains in the county.

Arellano credited the chain's lasting popularity to quick service and small tacos with plenty of flavor. With several outlets spread across Anaheim and Santa Ana, it functions as a neighborhood chain rather than a single destination restaurant.
