History

The Sacramento Bee included the taquería in a list of a food writer's five favorite taco spots in the Sacramento region, identifying Miguel Hernandez and Alejandro Galindo as its owners. It occupies a suite on Stockton Boulevard, a corridor of south Sacramento known for Mexican and Southeast Asian restaurants.

The Bee's recommendations were the al pastor, a loaded shrimp taco and tacos de sesos, made with beef brain, a cut that is uncommon on Sacramento-area menus. The restaurant otherwise follows the standard taquería format of tacos with a range of grilled and braised meats.
