Overview

Angel's operates sidewalk-style stands and counters, with locations including North Hollywood, Eagle Rock, Echo Park and Glassell Park. The Infatuation counted 12 locations in its review and lists the chain among the 25 best tacos in Los Angeles, naming its Eagle Rock branch as a favorite. In L.A. TACO's 2024 Taco Madness tournament Angel's reached the semifinal, where it narrowly lost to the eventual champion, Villa's Tacos.

Al pastor carved from a trompo and finished with pineapple is the best-known order. The stands also grill carne asada and serve braised meats such as cabeza, with bright salsas and tortillas pressed to order.
