Overview

The shop takes its name and its single-minded format from the fish taco stands of Ensenada, Baja California. The Infatuation describes a menu with essentially two items, fish tacos and shrimp tacos, each fried to order in a pot behind the counter.

Tacos are made on corn tortillas pressed in house. Diners finish them at a salsa bar with shredded cabbage, a lime-heavy radish relish and chipotle crema. The Infatuation lists it among the 11 best fish tacos in Los Angeles and recommends it for a quick, inexpensive lunch. Its Hillhurst Avenue address puts it on the same Los Feliz street as Yuca's.
