Coni'Seafood

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Coni'Seafood is a Nayarit- and Sinaloa-style Mexican seafood restaurant on West Imperial Highway in Inglewood, California, known for its smoked marlin taco.

Overview

Coni'Seafood is located at 3544 West Imperial Highway in Inglewood. Bill Esparza included it in Los Angeles magazine's 2016 list of the 25 best tacos in the city, choosing its smoked marlin taco: marlin stewed with peppers, onions and tomatoes and finished with melted cheese.

Context

In this style of taco the smoked fish is shredded and cooked down with vegetables into a savory filling, and the melted cheese binds it to the tortilla. Esparza's list set Coni'Seafood alongside other Los Angeles mariscos specialists such as Mariscos Jalisco. Esparza's list was published in August 2016.
