Overview

Chilango lists two locations in Doctores: the original at the corner of Dr. Andrade and Dr. Olvera, open in the daytime, and a second at Dr. Vértiz 166 that opens in the evening and runs into the early morning. The menu is broad, with many taco fillings, an inventive house salsa, roasted bone marrow, mulitas and stuffed potatoes, and a taco buffet is offered at a set price.

Context

Chilango included it in a list of thirty taquerías every Mexico City resident should know, a selection weighted toward neighborhood places outside the usual tourist circuit. Doctores, named for its streets honoring physicians, is a working-class district near the city center.
