Overview

LAist described Flor del Rio in 2015 as a restaurant that had been operating for more than ten years with a single dish and no printed menu. It sits on East 4th Street in Boyle Heights, near several other Eastside birria specialists.

The one dish is birria de chivito, young goat cooked in the manner of Zacatecas. Customers can order it dry, with the meat on its own for building tacos, or in its consomé. Because the most recent detailed source is from 2015, its current hours and status have not been confirmed. LAist gave its address as 3201 East 4th Street, across the street from Birrieria Nochistlan at 3200 East 4th Street.
