Haga Su Taco

From WikiTacos, the taco encyclopedia · Taquería

Haga Su Taco is a tacos de guisado spot in Querétaro's La Cruz neighborhood where diners fill their own tortillas from the day's stews.

Overview

Will Fly for Food lists Haga Su Taco at Calle Felipe Luna Sur 46 in La Cruz, open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in a guide updated in 2026. The guide describes the make-your-own-taco format as unusual in Mexico.

Diners take tortillas and fill them themselves from pots of guisados, the stews of the day, which are not labeled. One of them, according to the guide, was a rich mole similar to mole poblano. The self-service format lets customers try several stews in one visit.

Querétaro's taquerías draw on styles from other regions as well as local ones; CódigoQro noted in 2022 that several of the city's best-known stands advertise the taco flavor of Arandas, a town in the Altos de Jalisco, and the city's markets and side streets also hold many tacos de guisado and gordita stands.
