Maccise opened Tacos Beyrut in Puebla's Centro Histórico in 1976. The restaurant specializes in pork roasted on a charcoal trompo and served in pan árabe, along with falafel and jocoque, dishes rooted in the city's Lebanese community. The business says it was recognized in 2006, during the celebrations of Puebla's 475th anniversary, as part of the city's living history. In 2026, fifty years after the founding, it opened a second branch in Angelópolis.
