Overview

The restaurant is located at 1495 The Alameda. Hoodline included it in a 2020 roundup of San José's top Mexican restaurants. In May 2019, ABC7 reported that Luna was among the Bay Area restaurants newly named Bib Gourmands, the category for high-quality food at moderate prices. It remained on the list in the 2025 and 2026 editions.

Significance
