Overview

Time Out Los Angeles included Mariscos El Faro in its 2025 guide to the city's best food trucks. It listed two locations: 6139 N. Figueroa Street in Highland Park and 9070 W. Venice Boulevard in Culver City. It is not related to El Faro in San Francisco.

The truck serves tostadas, ceviches, fish tacos and shrimp empanadas in the style of Sinaloa, the Pacific coast state known for its seafood. Its raw preparations are seasoned with Maggi and mayonnaise. Time Out highlighted the salt-cured sea bass, or lobina, and noted that the truck offers two-for-one tacos on Tuesdays.
