Simón is a blue mariscos lonchera (food truck) on West Sunset Boulevard on the Echo Park–Silver Lake border in Los Angeles, run by Francisco Aguilar.

Overview

Time Out credits Francisco Aguilar with the truck and describes its seafood cooking as inventive. The Infatuation includes it in its guide to the 11 best fish tacos in Los Angeles but marked it as temporarily closed at the time of its listing.

Simón offers a Baja-style battered fish taco alongside a grilled fish al pastor taco, in which fish is seasoned in the manner of the pork al pastor of Mexico City. Aguachiles and other raw seafood dishes complete the menu. The truck is one of several Los Angeles mariscos operations to appear in both publications' taco coverage, alongside the long-running Mariscos Jalisco.
