Overview

Súper Taco Tomás occupies Calle Aurelio Aceves 2782 in Colonia Vallarta, close to the La Minerva roundabout. México Desconocido credits it with some four decades of tradition. It is a night spot: El Informador gives its hours as 6:30 to 11:30 p.m.

The taquería sells its tacos by the order rather than one at a time, which México Desconocido flags as something first-time visitors should know.

Lengua de res is the dish that built its reputation. The menu also includes pastor, labio (lip), carnaza, gringas and quesadillas.

The taquería was one of the six rated highest in the PLAYERS' Restaurant's Choice 2023 survey of Guadalajara tacos, and PLAYERS of Life included it again in a 2024 list of the city's essential taquerías drawn from its Restaurant's Choice 2024 selection.
