Tacos de Don Juanito is a family taquería in San Luis Potosí that started as a single trailer in 1991 and grew to more than seven branches.

History

Don Juanito opened the business with a food trailer on 30 April 1991. Writing in 2018, El Universal San Luis Potosí reported that demand had pushed it to more than seven branches across the city, with the family going through more than 200 kilos of meat a day. His wife, María de Jesús, and their children prepare the food, starting early each morning. The story, written by Nancy Lizet Hernández, appeared in the newspaper's Nuestras historias section, and the paper updated it in 2023.

The tacos are of al pastor, bistec, barbacoa and cecina, served with green salsa, pico de gallo and small grilled onions. The sources do not give branch addresses.
