Overview

Chilango featured El Papi, at Oriente 91 number 3229 in Mártires de Río Blanco, as the representative taquería for its Neza and Aragón zone. The signature is an XXL breaded milanesa taco, served with pico de gallo mixed with chicharrón, potatoes and nopales. The grill also turns out chuleta, longaniza, bistec and arrachera.

Chilango's list of thirty essential taquerías added large arrachera tacos, chicken breast and cecina enchilada, with the option of adding quesillo. The place has a large dining room as well as room to eat standing on the street.

Context

Chilango's 2023 feature En busca del taco más chilango chose one representative taquería for each of fifteen zones of the capital and its suburbs, favoring neighborhood spots over viral ones.
