Tacos El Venado
Tacos El Venado is a chain of Los Angeles street taco stands with several locations, including a stand on Sepulveda Boulevard in Van Nuys, known for suadero, asada and an all-meats taco called the Desmadre.
Overview
El Venado has grown into a well-known name in the San Fernando Valley, with a large Instagram following and lines that form regularly at its stands. L.A. TACO listed it in a 2019 roundup of the Valley's best street tacos, singling out its suadero and asada, and again in a 2023 guide to tacos along Metro's G Line, which pointed readers to the stand at 6315 Sepulveda Boulevard near Sepulveda Station.
Menu
The meat list covers asada, al pastor, pollo, chorizo, buche, tripas, carnitas and cueritos. The Desmadre taco mixes all of them into a single order. The stands also sell asada fries, tortas, nachos and a loaded baked potato. In an Infatuation feature in which Los Angeles chefs named favorite tacos, El Venado's al pastor with salsa verde was among the picks.
