Tacos Jalisco is a taquería on North Tustin Street in Orange, California, popular with Chapman University students and residents of Old Towne Orange.

Overview

Tacos Jalisco is at 480 North Tustin Street in the city of Orange. In OC Weekly's 2016 list of great old-school taquerías, Gustavo Arellano noted its following among students at nearby Chapman University and among residents of Old Towne Orange, the city's historic district. He also recalled that the Orange County punk band Manic Hispanic had given it a shout-out, a sign of its standing in local culture.

Arellano described the menu as larger than at a typical taquería. The shop's name refers to the western Mexican state of Jalisco, home of Guadalajara. The same list included Carnitas Los Reyes, which sits farther south on Tustin Street in Orange, giving the street two of the county's recommended old-school taquerías.
