Tacos Manolo is a taquería in the Narvarte neighborhood of Mexico City known for its namesake steak, onion and bacon taco and its peanut salsa.

Overview

Chilango's taco tour of Narvarte describes Tacos Manolo, at Luz Saviñón 1305, as a business that began under a tin roof and grew to occupy two adjoining premises. The house taco, the taco Manolo, combines bistec, onion and bacon, and the peanut salsa (salsa de cacahuate) is the favorite condiment.

Time Out México's comparison of Narvarte pastor tacos also included Tacos Manolo, describing a pastor taco on a doubled tortilla with juicy meat, and its tasters likewise singled out the peanut salsa.

Context

Narvarte is one of Mexico City's most taquería-dense neighborhoods, with many places open into the early morning.
