Overview

Chilango placed Tacos Norteños Blanquita at Atanasio G. Sarabia, corner of 109 A, in colonia Héroes de Churubusco, and credited its cook with about thirty years of experience. The menu borrows from northern Mexico: carne asada with cheese, barbecue ribs, sausage with pineapple and bacon, baked potatoes and roasted bone marrow. It operates for a few hours each night and takes cash only.

Context

Chilango included it in a list of thirty taquerías every Mexico City resident should know, a selection weighted toward neighborhood places outside the usual tourist circuit. Northern-style carne asada stands are less common in the capital than griddle and spit taquerías.
