Overview

When it opened on Overland Avenue, Tacos Por Vida drew lines that The Infatuation reported reached three hours before settling down. A later update to that review states that the business now operates only for catering, so walk-in service should not be assumed.

The short menu covered tacos and burritos on freshly made corn tortillas. Its al pastor was spiked with gochujang and pineapple, a nod to Kogi's Korean-Mexican roots, and other fillings included charcoal-grilled asada, chicken and a smoky grilled mushroom. The review places the stand on Overland Avenue in Palms and credits the concept to the team of Kogi founder Roy Choi.
