Overview

Sabroso listed El Taconazo at Avenida Constituyentes 66 in Loma Bonita in its 2025 list of Querétaro's best taquerías, with an estimated price of 22 to 28 pesos per taco. No founding date or owner is given.

The menu includes tacos of trompo (spit-roasted pork), cecina (salted, thin-cut beef), chorizo and combinations of them. The site singled out the taco of cecina with chorizo. It should not be confused with taquerías of the same name in other cities.

Querétaro's taquerías draw on styles from other regions as well as local ones; CódigoQro noted in 2022 that several of the city's best-known stands advertise the taco flavor of Arandas, a town in the Altos de Jalisco, and the city's markets and side streets also hold many tacos de guisado and gordita stands.
