Also known as: Los Milanesos

Taquería Los Milanesos is a Mexico City taquería in Álvaro Obregón specializing in tacos of breaded milanesa, recognized with a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2025.

History

According to El Universal, citing the business's own site, Los Milanesos was founded in 1999 by Andrés Betancourt, who still runs it. It began as a way to feed the workers building the Centro Libanés. The taquería has two branches in the Álvaro Obregón borough, on Calle Veracruz and in Olivar de los Padres. It was among the new Bib Gourmand entries in the 2025 Michelin Guide Mexico and kept the award in 2026.

The specialty is milanesa: pork or beef cutlets pounded thin, breaded, fried and cut into strips, then served on corn tortillas with lime and a choice of spicy green or smoky red salsa. Cheese is a common addition, and suadero is also available. The Veracruz location is marked by an orange awning and a walkway hung with colorful flags, and it accepts cash only.
